Talk to Us!

Our Association has a well established social calendar where members meet and talk to each other. Now we are extending this to the virtual world! Here, in our “Talk to Us!” section, you can voice your opinions, hold discussions or just pop in for a friendly chat 365 days a year. Part of David Cameron’s vision for a “Big Society” is that people become more involved in, more responsible for the way the country is run. This is our first small step in helping out in that objective.

“Talk to Us!” is divided into 2 sections - Forums and Blogs. For those unfamiliar with the internet jargon, a Forum is a place where anyone can raise a topic for discussion and others can respond whereas a Blog is where a single person raises a subject and then everyone else can join in commenting on it. Our first blog will be a Website Development Blog where people can give us their feed back on what they think of the new site and suggest any idea for improving it.  Later, we hope to add more bloggers to our ranks discussing more diverse issues.We see these as fantastic and forward looking ways of getting constituency members more involved in the issues that concern them most.

So why not visit them not and see what people are talking about. You don’t have to join in the discussions at first, you can just read what is going on - sooner or later though we’re sure you will want to contribute yourself. Click on the links below to join a whole new world!
